Bordered on one side by the Mediterranean sea and on the other by two parallel mountain ranges, Lebanon is country suspended between the sky and the sea.
Despite its small area (10,452 square km), it is a land resplendent in its diverse geography, landscape, culture and history.
From the white-capped mountains and blue sea, to the countryside. from arid hills to lush forests, the visitor discovers a series of contrasts. Bare Rocky Mountains are followed by luxuriant valleys watered by rivers and waterfalls. The view changes quickly from pine covered hills to dramatic rocky landscapes, to fertile plains laid out with farms and vineyards.

Departure to Batroun to visit ADYAR winery, through its genuine know-how and strict respect of organic agriculture standards, ADYAR was the first Lebanese wine to be certified organic for all its vintages, by the prestigious IMC “Istituto Mediterraneo di Certificazione”.
On the way back passing by IXIR winery it was named as one of the greenest buildings in the world by CNN. The tours include an upgraded full tasting of eight wines.

Day 3 :

Departure to Visit Chateau Musar, 90 years of excellence from lending their cellars as bomb shelters in the war, to consolidating their current status as worldwide cult favorites, Chateau Musar has a truly unique history.
Then visit "Our Lady of Lebanon" in Harissa, an immense statue of the Immaculate Conception overlooking the bay of Jounieh. Built in the late 19th century, the statue of the Virgin Mary towers over a sanctuary (a chapel in the pedestal)

Departure to visit the Jeita Grottoes, the caves consist of two galleries discovered in 1836 and 1858. You can venture into these galleries for about 700 meters to admire the maze of stalactites and stalagmites. The lower gallery is crossed by an underground river that can be visited by boat.
Then a beautiful drive to the Bekaa Valley

Departure to visit Chateau Ksara winery, which were established during the time of the Jesuit Priests in 1857, who produced the country's first dry red wine, in 1898, a milestone was reached in Ksara's history when an artificial cave dating back to the Roman era was fortuitously discovered at the site. The caves, which now run for two kilometers, form part of Ksara's cellar.
Continue to Domaine des Tourelles, their wines can be seen as ‘off piste’ because of their limited use of oak and use of unusual structured, sophisticated and slightly austere wine of cranberries, figs and liquorice. Deliciously grown up.

Time to enjoy Baalbeck (city of Baal) emerges like a green jewel on the slopes of the Anti-Lebanon Mountains. The famous acropolis, built by the Romans as a tribute to the sun god Baal, dominates the Beqaa Valley with its gigantic proportions. It is the culmination of an imperial project that reflects Roman will, wealth, and power. They also show a strong local Semitic influence in their layout and overall economy. In fact, the triad of Jupiter, Venus, and Mercury that was worshiped there was grafted onto an ancient local triad.

Continue to Chateau St Thomas, established in 1990 by Said Touma and his family on a hill overlooking the Bekaa valley, Chateau St Thomas estate is a vineyard spreading over 65 ha & a wine storehouse for fermentation and ageing.

Chateau Kefraya, offers a guided tour of the estate. The “train” leaves l’Allée du Château and takes you to a tour of the vineyards, until the “observation point” and its panoramic view over the vines.Explore the exceptional site of Dahr-el-Moghr and its hypogea or underground tomb, a reminiscence of the Roman presence in the 3rd century A.D.

Visit the Beiteddine Palace, perched at an altitude of 850 meters. The palace complex was built during the reign of Emir Bechir Chehab II, who governed Mount Lebanon for over half a century. The palace houses a museum of feudal weapons, costumes, and jewelry, as well as an archaeological museum and a museum of Byzantine mosaics.
Pass through Deir el Qamar, which means "monastery of the moon." This village retains a remarkable picturesque aspect, with typical stone houses and palaces that display the ancient style of architecture.

Visit the winery Chateau Oumsiyat, 78 hectares of vineyards are scattered between the Bekka Valley and Mount Lebanon. The altitude, microclimate and soils combine in this ancient terroir to produce fresh wines with a very Mediterranean “feel.”
