This city, founded by the Phoenicians, is protected by the Castle of the Sea, a fortress built by the Crusaders.

Visit to the sanctuary of Saydet El Mantara. Its name derives from the Arabic word "Manatara," meaning "Waiting." According to tradition, Mary, the mother of Jesus, accompanied him during his travels between Cana, Tyre, Sarafand, and Sidon. Popular Christian tradition in Lebanon tells that the Virgin Mary was waiting for Jesus' return from his apostolic wanderings on this hill of Maghdousheh. Let's continue to Tyre, visit Tyre, the pearl of the coast nestled on a small rocky island, where you will discover the Greco-Roman stadium, the ruins of the cathedral built by the Crusaders, and the two ports of King Hiram. Breakfast at the hotel.

Departure to visit the Chouf region. Visit to the Beiteddine Palace, perched at an altitude of 850 meters. Beiteddine, also known as the House of Faith, is the best example of 19th-century Lebanese architecture. Known for its palaces, museums, and gardens, Beiteddine is one of Lebanon's major tourist attractions. The "complex" of palaces was built during the reign of Emir Bechir Chehab II, who ruled Mount Lebanon for over half a century. The palace houses a museum of feudal weapons, costumes, and jewelry, as well as an archaeological museum and a museum of Byzantine mosaics. In the heart of Deir el-Qamar, among the ancient houses and narrow alleyways, a small staircase leads to the facade of the Church of El Saydet Tallé, also known as Our Lady of the Hill. This church was built on the remains of a Phoenician temple dedicated to Astarte. Over time, it has been enlarged, restored, and rebuilt. Lunch in the Deir el Qamar region. Pass through Deir el Qamar, which means "monastery of the Moon." This village retains a remarkable picturesque aspect, with typical stone houses and palaces that display the ancient style of architecture. Return to Beirut. Overnight at the hotel.

Continue to Byblos for a visit to a city deeply rooted in history, dating back at least 7,000 years (5,000-4,000 BC). The current name of the city is derived from the Greek word "papyrus" (paper). Byblos was not only a major trading center and producer of papyrus but also famous for being the place where the Phoenician script was first revealed. It was the birthplace of the Alphabet. Visit the Church of St. John the Baptist, the old souks (markets), and the city walls. In the peaceful greenery of Annaya, the remains of the Lebanese saint Mar Charbel rest. He lived there in great austerity for 23 years until his death on December 24, 1898, while celebrating Christmas Mass at the age of 70. Beatified in 1965, he was canonized in October 1977.
